Activision has officially confirmed the return of Fortune’s Keep as part of Season 4 for Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing back one of the community’s most beloved Resurgence maps.
Originally introduced in 2022 during the “Mercenaries of Fortune” update, Fortune’s Keep quickly became a fan favorite thanks to its compact design, fast-paced gunfights, and intense close-quarters combat. The island map offered players a different experience from larger battlegrounds like Verdansk and Al Mazrah, focusing heavily on aggressive gameplay and constant action.
Now, after months of speculation and player requests, Fortune’s Keep is making its comeback when Season 4 launches on June 4, 2026.
According to early details surrounding the update, the returning map will feature visual upgrades and gameplay adjustments designed around the current Black Ops 7 movement system.
